Born to Madeiran parents in Guernsey, Nessi’s life has been shaped by living between cultures, identities, and worlds. That sense of “in between” lives in her music, blending soulful songwriting, folk influences, and powerful vocals into songs that invite us to slow down, feel deeply, and reconnect with ourselves.

Rocky velvet offers sultry, sonic, and somatic love. She is mother, musician, mystic, and moon gazer, guided by nature’s rhythms and ancient whispers. She sings, loops, guitars, pianos and poets. Dancer, drummer, and dreamer. She communes with the elements, harmonizing with plants, and galvanizing with light.
