Neill Log House Anniversary Hike
About this Event
This will be approximately a thirty-minute hike on the medium-to-hard-difficulty Steve Falloon trail. We will start at the Westinghouse Memorial, going over a brief history of the pond and monument and then make our way to the Neill Log House.
This trail has steep inclines and can get very muddy if it rains the night before. Participants joining on the hike must wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants, sleeves, and bug spray are all strongly encouraged but not required.
Participants who would like to hear about the Neill Log House but feel unsure about the hike are encouraged to meet the group at the Neill Log House at 10:45, where they can still join the group for the tour of the house.
