Students will explore the perfect threads, tools, and essential terminology needed to bring their designs to life. You will learn foundational stitches and be ready to craft your own lace designs using just a needle and thread—whether it’s delicate ornaments, jewelry, or elegant trims to elevate your wardrobe and crafts.
This is a great lead-up workshop to the more intricate art of shuttle tatting and is suited for beginners.
You will be practicing the stitches and following a beginner pattern.
Minimum 3 students, maximum 10.
Elaine O’Donal of Tatted Webs has been selling handmade tatted lace for almost forty years. Elaine creates historic and classic pieces as well as patterns with a modern twist. She participates as a vendor at our special events and in craft shows along the East Coast as well as shares her technique in classes around the New England area.
