Felting is an ancient art form where layers of wool fibres are worked together using barbed needles in a way that can be described as 'Painting with Wool'

This is a great workshop to introduce you to the art of needle felting. Suitable for either beginners, or those who want to improve their skills.
You will be given a demonstration and guided through basic needle felting techniques to create a beautiful landscape picture. You will learn to build up layers to produce texture and detail . Let your imagination run wild and create a truly unique artwork.

A range of fabric, beads, buttons and speciality fibres will be available for you to use to enhance your picture.
By the end of the session you will have a beautifully unique picture to take home along with the skills and knowledge to enable you to do more needle felting.
The aim of the session is take some time for yourself to explore your creativity in a welcoming, friendly environment.
You don’t need to bring anything with you as all tools and materials will be provided. However, if you need glasses please bring those with you.
