🌳 About the Memorial Park 🌳
The Newport Police and Newport Fire Departments are proud to honor, respect and remember the fallen first responders who have been killed in the line of duty. Each agency and their families have suffered unimaginable loss, and the sacrifices of those who died in the line of duty will not be forgotten. Together, the police and fire departments are committed to keeping their memory alive through the creation of the Barker Memorial Park First Responder Memorial, which will be here in Newport.
Through generous donations, this memorial will be created in their honor as a place of quiet reflection, somber remembrance, and gratitude for their service to the citizens and visitors of Newport. By your attendance at the game or your generous donations we can unite, come together, continue to honor, respect and remember those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to the community of Newport.
