Newport Beer Run | 2026

The Newport Beer Run returns on Saturday July 18, 2026 for its 10th year at Fort Adams State Park. Join us for a fun, timed 5K road race and an unforgettable craft beer festival inside the walls of Fort Adams. We’ve got some great local and national beers on tap to greet you at the finish line! Or, skip the run and head straight for the festival with a festival-only ticket.

All 5k participants receive a finisher’s medal, pint glass, and entry to the festival — all-samples-included beer tasting, live music, vendors and food trucks selling onsite. All festival-only tickets receive a pint glass and entry to the festival at 12:30 PM. Designated drivers receive entry to the festival where they are welcome to enjoy designated snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Full refunds are allowed up to 30 days prior to the event.

Please email [email protected] to request a refund and include your name and the event name. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS made to requests after the 30 day prior deadline.

Deferrals to the next year’s event are allowed up to 30 days before the event.

Please email [email protected] to request a deferral. This will be available for you to register for the following year’s event. Instructions for using the deferral will be emailed to you.

Tickets for the beer festival are transferrable. Please email the Eventbrite confirmation directly to your transferee including the QR code or transfer tickets in Eventbrite. Please note QR codes will only scan once. Registrations for the 5k are not transferrable.

Our events are held rain or shine. However, there is always the potential for extreme or severe weather conditions. Race organizers will do as much as we can to ensure the experience is as safe as possible. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials consult public safety officers. If there is more than a short delay, if conditions persist, or the forecast calls for extreme weather, race officials reserve the right to alter or cancel the race. We do not schedule "rain dates". Any decision to cancel an event is done as an absolute last resort and is made collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate. In such situations, there will be NO REFUNDS as registrants accept any such risk of their entry fee when signing up.
