Join the Notre Dame Club of Dallas for our next installment of the Diverse Voices Book Series as we dive into Real Americans by Rachel Khong—a sweeping, multigenerational novel exploring identity, belonging, and the American dream through the lens of a Chinese American family.
Khong masterfully weaves together the lives of three generations, from 1960s China to contemporary America, examining how history, science, and personal choices shape who we become. Real Americans is both intimate and expansive, raising powerful questions about inheritance, ambition, and what it means to truly belong.
I'm not sure about your local library but the Dallas Public Library system has 28 copies throughout the branches. Or it can be purchased anywhere.
