NCRD x PRIDE - Roller Disco ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
We are thrilled to partner with Fierté Sudbury Pride to host a special Roller Disco in celebration of Pride Month. At Nickel City Roller Derby, our mission is to empower roller skaters of all genders, backgrounds, and skill levels and collaborations like this help us continue to support our community in meaningful ways. Join us for a night of fun and celebration!
Join us on Friday, June 19th, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the NCU Community Centre, located at 300 Wessex Street.
Cost: Pay what you can, our suggested amount is $10. We accept cash, Interac, and credit cards.
Skaters of all skill levels are welcome! Please note that liability waivers are required, and roller skating is a ZERO intoxicant activity. If you are suspected of or seen consuming alcohol, marijuana, or other substances you will no longer be allowed to skate.
As usual, this event will be volunteer-run and rental skates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis as sizes are limited. We encourage everyone to bring their own helmets and protective gear. Bike helmets and protective pads used for biking, scootering, skateboarding, and skating are all acceptable. We look forward to seeing you there!
