About this Event
Meditation in Nature is an opportunity for you to switch-off and experience a deep sense of calm whilst enjoying the beauty of the grounds at The Whitworth. When we are mindful in nature, we are able to be in the present moment much quicker than if we were indoors, this is because nature offers us an abundance of beauty and our natural curiosity is heightened by the sights, sounds and smells. At the end of the session, you will experience feeling lighter, less stressed and having a sense that you have connected to something bigger than yourself. Join us in the beautiful Bernstein Garden for World Menopause Day where we will explore ways to ease menopause symptoms through nature connection activities and mindfulness. Mindfulness can help with symptoms such as stress, anxiety, irritability, depression and hot flushes which many women experience during the menopause. You will leave with tips and techniques of how to bring more compassion and gentle awareness on your menopause journey.
