NAWIC walking Tour - Bloomsbury Squares and networking drinks
About this Event
NAWIC LDN Walking Tour
Bloomsbury Squares, celebrating history, architecture and women.
Join us for a guided walking tour through the elegant squares and leafy streets of Bloomsbury, exploring one of London’s most fascinating neighbourhoods through its architecture, social history and remarkable women. From Georgian terraces and garden squares to institutions of learning, literature and reform, Bloomsbury has long been a place of ideas, activism and creativity.
As we walk, we will uncover the stories of the women who lived, worked, wrote, campaigned and shaped history here — from writers and artists to social reformers, educators and pioneers. This tour will celebrate Bloomsbury not only as a beautiful architectural district, but as a place where women’s voices, networks and legacies helped transform London’s cultural and civic life.
Following the tour, we will continue the evening with drinks and pizza kindly hosted at Avison Young’s offices. This will be a lovely opportunity to relax, continue the conversation and connect with fellow attendees in an informal and welcoming setting.
