Attention Essex County families with youth ages 14–21!Join the Family Support Organization of Essex County and the Regional Family Support Planning Council #4 (Essex) for Navigating the Transition to Adult Life. This in-person event will help families learn about services, supports, and planning for life after high school.
March 28
11 AM – 2 PM
The Chandelier: 340 Franklin Ave, Belleville, NJ 07109
Hear from a panel of people with disabilities and professionals who will share information about important steps in the transition to adult life. Families will also take part in a planning session to help think about the future and the life you or your child wants as an adult.
You can also visit the resource tables and meet representatives from organizations, including the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities, the SPAN Parent Advocacy Network, and more.
