Navigating Difficult Conversations in Divisive Times: A Practical Framework
About this Event
Polarisation is destroying psychological safety, breaking apart teams and decreasing both productivity and revenue. Leaders are having to navigate intensely sensitive topics, all the while maintaining employee retention and organisational reputation.
In this interactive training session, senior leaders will learn the practical tools for navigating divisive conversations while maintaining inclusive workplace cultures. The session will explore both the social and cognitive causes of division, key barriers to creating cohesion and a comprehensive framework for improving understanding and cooperation. By the end of the session attendees will not only understand the wider context impacting their employees, but will have practiced the practical skills needed to create inclusive and cohesive workplaces for all.
"Coliberate did a fantastic job of guiding us through this complicated topic and helping us to understand the causes of division and how we can navigate these divides with empathy and compassion." - Karen Nolan, CEO, YMCA St. Helens
