Welcome to the Navigating Dementia Conference!
Join us for an engaging in-person FREE event where you'll connect, learn, and share information about dementia. Whether you have lived experience of dementia, or are a caregiver, professional, or simply interested, this conference is your chance to gain fresh insights and practical tips. Get inspired by expert talks, interactive sessions, and real-life stories. Safer and Supportive Salisbury are hosting a conference to bring support, advice and information on local services together under one roof.
When: Tuesday 19 May 12.30-4.30pm
Where: Salisbury Methodist Church, St. Edmund’s Church Street, SP1 1EF
· A buffet lunch will be served from 12.30
· Conference begins at 1.30
· The key Speaker will be Sir Al Aynsley-Green on compassionate care
· Alzheimer’s Disease International will discuss research and developments in treatment and prevention
· Guest speakers with lived experience will give their perspective
· Local dementia support organisations will offer one to one information
· A supported quieter room with refreshments and activities will also be available for people living with dementia throughout the afternoon. Our aim is to assist carers bringing their cared for companion and make it easier for them to access all the information available on the day.
