You’re probably familiar with yoga, but have you ever tried it outside? Practicing yoga outdoors has a multitude of benefits. It provides fresh air, vitamin D, the peaceful sounds of nature, and beautiful views you can't find in a studio. It also cultivates a deeper connection to yourself, nature, and the universe being immersed in it. Each session is led by instructor Ash Kollar and held at different outdoor locations in local parks.
Join us for a nature yoga session at "The Flats," near the Silver Suspension Bridge in Mill Creek Metroparks. October is a time for self-reflection and communal connection to our ancestors, the land, and the divine. This class is a Hatha yoga session aimed at embracing the changing seasons and integrating breath and movement as a divine blessing. We will also pay tribute to the world's Indigenous populations and focus on generational healing. Please bring a journal, a cozy sweater, warm tea, and an object to honor the land, ancestors, and divine healing. This class is suitable for all levels.
