About this Event

Are you interested in nature and artistic expression? Specifically clay? We're combining two practices in one workshop! Join us in this intersectional activity for all that combines nature and clay!

Shirin-yoku, or forest bathing, is a therapeutic practice to immerse yourself in nature while Kiriniku is a method of creating with intention.

We will be exploring old growth forests at Seward Park and work on a clay project, Seward Park inspired! Think forest bathing meets art therapy.

During this workshop you will:

  • Engage in a 20-min forest bath, or shirin-yoku
  • Watch a demo of local artist's method of kiriniku
  • Make your own kiriniku mug!

All art supplies and wet wipes are provided. Working with clay is a multi-step process. Participants will be emailed for the earliest available arrangement pick up.

**Please complete before attending your Radicle Summer outdoor clay workshop.
