Nature Tots is an indoor and outdoor adult and toddler group ran by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust 🦡. Your ticket helps support vital, local conservation efforts and also includes entry to the Monkey Forest 🌱 🐒!
Each week has a different theme and the activities are designed to encourage your toddler’s engagement with nature at an affordable price point.
So why not join us for crafts, trails, and games.
All sessions will be from 10:30 am – 12 pm and the meeting point will be at the Monkey Forest Tipi.
x1 £10 ticket covers both x1 Adult & x1 Child entry.
Additional adults/children MUST have the additional separate ticket.
We play whatever the weather so please make sure your little ones and yourself are dressed suitably.
Suitable for 18 months- 5 years old.
15th April // Animal Homes: This week our theme is Animal Homes. Learn about where animals live and let us build some dens.
22nd April // Magic: This week's theme is Magic. Let’s look for fairies and make magic potions and wands
29th April // Baby Birds: This week's theme is Baby Birds. Let us learn about baby birds and make our feathered friends some tasty snacks!
6th May // Signs of Spring: This week our theme is Signs of Spring. Let us welcome in the new season and maybe even sow some spring flowers of our own!
13th May // Woodlands: This week our theme is Woodlands. Oh dear, oh no, it is a Gruffalo!
20th May // Ducks and Eggs: This week our theme is Ducks and Eggs. It is going to be quackers!
3rd June // Frogs and Ponds: This week our theme is Frogs and Ponds. Let us learn about the frog life cycle.
10th June // Caterpillars and Butterflies: This week our theme is Caterpillars and Butterflies. Flap your butterfly wings and join us for some fun butterfly themed games and activities.
17th June // Colourful flowers: This week's theme is Colourful Flowers! Nature is full of colours, what will you find?
24th June // Bees and bugs: This week's theme is Bees and Bugs! Let us do the Bee wiggle and look at what bugs live at The Monkey Forest!
1st July // Wild sounds: This week's theme is Wild Sounds! Let us use nature and make some music.
8th July // Teddy Bear Picnic: This week our theme is Teddy Bear Picnic. If you go down to the woods today, you are sure of a big surprise!
15th July// Summer Party: This week our theme is Summer Party. To celebrate the summer let throw a nature tots party! From smelly cocktails to nature, crown party hats come and celebrate with us.
2nd Sept // Squirrels and Acorns: This week's theme is Squirrels and Acorns. Join us as we celebrate the start of autumn.
9th Sept // Hibernating Hedgehogs: This week our theme is Hibernating Hedgehogs. Let’s find out what it means and learn all about our prickly friends
16th Sept // Pirates: This week our theme is Pirates! Just us for a swashbuckling time with crafts and games
23rd Sept // Autumn: This week our theme is Autumn. As the season begins to change, let us welcome in Autumn with some seasonal activities and crafts.
30th Sept // Fantastic Foxes: This week our theme is Fantastic Foxes. Can you find something as orange as a fox?
7th Oct // Spooky Spiders: This week our theme is Spooky spiders. Let us look for spiders and make our own giant web!
14th Oct // Bats and Owls: This week's theme is bats and owls. Let us learn about the creatures that come out at night!
21st Oct // Halloween: This week our theme is Halloween. Join in some spooky themed activities and games
