Nature School: Monarchs

Children will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of monarch butterflies! This program aims to help kids understand the life cycle of these creatures and their remarkable migration through interactive exploration and hands-on fun. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from the Steven Katz Memorial Fund, this program is offered free of charge for children.

WHO: Children 7-10 years old + guardian

WHEN: July 27th, 2024 at 2 PM

WHERE: Mill Creek MetroParks Farm: 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Rd. Canfield, Ohio 44406. Meet at the picnic tables at the back of the parking lot. See map.

DETAILS: Nature School is an exciting way for older kids to learn about the natural world around them. Our programs cover different topics every month and may include stories, crafts, outdoor activities, and free play. We use local parks as our classroom and will be outside 100% of the time. Please ensure that your child is appropriately dressed for the weather and prepared to get a little dirty. We believe getting kids outside in all kinds of weather throughout the year is crucial. In the event of severe weather, we will contact you to cancel the program.
