Nature Journaling: The Fiercely Feathered - Owls & Hawks

Join us as we partnerwith Raven Ridge Wildlife Center for a nature journaling session featuring live raptors! We will practice the techniques of gesture drawing and field notes. Participants are asked to supply their own sketchbooks and field supplies. No hiking is planned for this session, but we will be both indoors and outdoors. No experience is required for this event. This is a no judgement zone!

What to Expect and How to Prepare: We will meet at the large bank barn at Ingrid Graham Historic Hellam Nature Preserve. Dress for the weather and bring drinking water. Please bring a sketchbook or sketch paper and a pen. Appropriate for ages12 and up (participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There is a restroom available on site.

Where to Meet: Follow the long gravel drive, veering to the right at the barn. Parking is available in the gravel lot.

Animal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home.

Refund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.

Cancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine, with cancellation a day in advance for severe weather. If the Conservancy reschedules the event, attendees will be emailed and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date. If the Conservancy cancels the event, attendees will be notified via email and refunded.
