The first of two days of indoor presentations & discussion which will explore the central questions 'Nature in its Place? What is Native?' seeking to challenge perceptions and views to create a framework for the 21st-century wilding debates. It will bring together archaeological study, contemporary perceptual & philosophical work, historical research, ecological studies and education together with the climate change and nature recovery agendas to question our understanding of the trajectory of anthropogenic change we are experiencing today. It will also ask pertinent questions about future landscapes, how these are evolving, who is part of the conversations and how/ what (if anything) we should be doing to influence them.
Speakers confirmed for the first day include Ian Rotherham, Max Coleman, Ted Green, Jen. Horseman and Steve Head.
