Project Sifu 2 (2026) Special Screening

Join us at the University of Sheffield for the premiere of Project Sifu 2, the latest film from Project Sifu, presented by the University of Sheffield in association with Fighting Spirit Film Festival.

Project Sifu 2 follows Eric, a shy university student who is more comfortable observing a martial arts class from behind his camera than joining in. Fascinated by kung fu and martial arts cinema, he begins an unexpected journey that draws him into a new world of training, filmmaking and friendship, challenging him to find his own place within the group.

Filmed at the University of Sheffield, the film brings together university students, young people, martial artists and professional filmmakers. It builds on Project Sifu’s wider work exploring how martial arts and filmmaking can create opportunities for creativity, confidence and connection.

The event will include the special screening of Project Sifu 2, followed by a discussion about the making of the film and the ideas behind the project.
