Nature Hike-Bat Hike

Interested in getting a closer look at the creatures of the night? Join us for a guided bat hike at Drayton Plains Nature Center! We’ll use echo meters to listen and identify any bats flying around in the night sky. You’ll get to learn all about the bats that call Drayton Plains Nature Center their home and if you’re lucky some other night critters may come out to say hello!(We’re frequently visited by owls). If you’re interested in using the echo meter, download the Echo Meter Touch Bat Detector by Wildlife Acoustics, Inc onto your phone before you get here as internet service can be spotty. Dress for the weather and long sleeves and long pants are recommend to protect against bugs.
