Nature Cure: The Lindlahr Sanitarium

Elmhurst is well known for its hospital, but in the early 20th century the city was a destination for a different kind of healing center. Curator of Collections, Dan Lund, will share the unique story of the Lindlahr Sanitarium, founded in 1914 by Dr. Henry Lindlahr where patients from all over the world came to receive “Nature Cure” treatments in a country-like atmosphere.
