Nature Club Dine & Discover: Leave the Leaves
Explore the essential natural process of decomposition and how it drives biodiversity in a healthy ecosystem. Discover how leaving natural matter such as leaves and deadwood can support wildlife by recycling nutrients, regenerating soil, and offering vital habitat support. Tips for considering decomposition with ecologically informed yard practices and novel habitat support elements as the seasons change will help make your yard a safe and welcoming sanctuary for birds, fireflies, butterflies, and native bees!
