Natural Gas as a Transportation Fuel Workshop
About this Event
Now is the time to explore ways to save on your fuel costs. Virginia Clean Cities will host a workshop to learn more about compressed natural gas and renewable natural gas as a transportation fuel on Ocotober 15th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Roanoke Gas Company. The morning will be filled with the experts on fueling infrastructure, vehicle maintenance, deploying this fuel in a fleet and the potential cost savings associated with switching to a domestic fuel. After a free lunch, we'll tour Roanoke Gas Company's renewable natural gas facility to see how it's made and the additional benefits of choosing RNG as a fleet fuel. We are proud to partner with Clean Energy, Enervest, Roanoke Gas and the Virginia Tech Southwest Center to provide this opportunity to local fleets, governments and those interested in a cheaper, cleaner fuel.
