Native Seedling Potting Workshop

Help give the next generation of native plants a strong start! Join us at the Tom Settlemire Community Garden for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to “up-pot” young native and pollinator-friendly seedlings, preparing them for healthy growth while supporting local biodiversity. Best of all, you’ll take home at least one seedling to grow in your own garden!
During this interactive workshop, you’ll learn why native plants are essential for pollinators and healthy ecosystems, practice up-potting seedlings into larger containers, help prepare plants for future community plantings, and take home at least one native seedling to grow yourself.
This workshop is perfect for gardeners of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned green thumbs. Families are welcome, though children should be accompanied by an adult.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
