We'll start with discussing the importance of planting native species, assessing your property for a native garden, and exploring a variety of flowering native plants and shrubs perfect for your landscape.
We will take a walking tour of a nearby native plant demo garden to see these plants thriving in a real-life setting, followed by a visit to the campus's native plant center, where you'll see plants growing in a nursery environment and find out how to select the best ones for your garden.
You'll leave with practical tips and inspiration for your own native plant project!
