Join us for a transformative and healing experience on [insert date]. We’ll meet in the Kiva beforehand, where I’ll be sharing teachings from Developing Inner Silence and discussing the concept of The Smiling Forehead:

Kris, my partner, is also interested in starting Zoom meetings with a dedicated group—this will be open for discussion as well.
Schedule & Details:
Arrival: Please arrive at 9 AM to assist with firewood, lodge covering, and harvesting any remaining root crops.
Alyssa will pour. She’s Sundanced for two consecutive years, attended most of my lodges, avidly read Castaneda, and is pursuing a Master’s at Naropa. She also brings beautiful songs and a powerful voice to the lodge.
Suggested Contribution: $30 minimum (escalate for late arrivals). All funds help cover firewood and expenses.

Potluck: Bring a dish for the potluck afterward (meat is OK).
Attire: Modest and non-revealing. Men should wear a baggy swimsuit or shorts, and women should wear a long cotton dress or T-shirt and shorts. Bring a towel.
Ceremony Guidelines: Protocols will be explained before the lodge. If the heat becomes too much, you may leave the lodge and still be part of the ceremony by sitting by the fire or in the Kiva to meditate and pray. You may also return to the lodge if needed.
Women on their Moontime: Our lodge follows a ceremony given by Joseph years ago that removed the “no women on their moontime” taboo. Similarly, Sundance Chief Howard Badhand has also discarded this restriction.
