MOTAT is supported by more than 170 dedicated volunteers who work hard to preserve Auckland's transport and technology heritage, and we are grateful for their passion and service.
To celebrate Volunteer Week and show our appreciation to volunteers everywhere, MOTAT is offering free General Admission to all volunteers from 13 to 21 June 2026.
All you need to do is let us know where you volunteer - bring a confirmation letter of your role, your organisation identification, or some other proof of your act of service.*
We recognise volunteering comes in all forms and welcome everyone who gifts their time to help out in their community.
