NATALIE CORTEZ BAND at the Gazebo July 16!
The Winters Friends of the Library 28th annual summer concert series continues with a free outdoor performance by NATALIE CORTEZ BAND playing a potent mix of her classic songs to newer power-pop and post punk on Thursday, July 16, 7:00–8:30 p.m. at Rotary Park, Main Street at Railroad Avenue in downtown Winters.
Since 2017, the NATALIE CORTEZ BAND's live shows have been a potent mix of her classic songs from "The Ultra-Violets" (1994-2001) and newer material that crunches power-pop and post-punk together with the jangle, chime and lyrical melodies that earned Natalie SAMMIE "Hall Of Fame" status in 2000. Natalie is joined by the tight, powerful rhythm section of Stacey Sheston (Ultra-Violets) on drums/vocals and Christopher Cassels (50-Watt Heavy) on bass. Greg Hain (Loose Engines, San Kazakgascar, Toadmortons, Chance The Gardener) and Jay Knox (False Color Image) bring the guitar power, Kim Nguyen (Sweet 100s, The Midnight Dip) adds a perfect chemistry of keyboards/flute/vocals, and Paul Zinn (The Nickel Slots, CTX) heads up the horn players.
Invite your friends and neighbors, bring a blanket or lawn chairs or sit on the grass, sip a cool drink, and enjoy some fine live music on a summer evening. The concerts are free, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
