Jo Freya, Fi Fraser, Sarah Matthews & Doug Eunson present an orchestra of sound with whistles, saxes, fiddles, viola, hammer dulcimer, accordion & hurdy-gurdy & four magnificent voices in glorious harmony. They have run workshops for many years specialising in getting groups to sing in four-part harmony. From the tradition to modern times anything goes and you'll find the material diverse, joyous and interesting. Polyphony in minutes!The workshop will focus on the joy of singing. With Narthen there is a tutor for every line of harmony. You pick the line you like and sing in any octave that suits your voice.
Teaching will be by ear with written music available.

11.00 Warm up, a glorious round or two & the first song - "Unite"
12:30 Lunch
13.30 Reprise "Unite" & move on to the heart-warming "Best Wishes"
15.00 Tea/coffee break
15.15 Reprise "Best Wishes" & learn a chilling carol...they're not just for Christmas!
16.45 Finish
