Every grower has extra seeds that might never get used. Bring them to our first annual SEED SWAP! If you're a beginner or don't have any seeds to share, you're invited too. This is a great opportunity to pick up the seeds you need to get started. HOW IT WORKS
Before you come to the swap ...
✅ Pre-apportion your seeds into small packets, envelopes, or baggies so it's easy for attendees to grab them versus having to sccop them out of container full of seeds. Please have the folowing information written on envelopes/baggies:
1. Category
- Perennial Flower (examples: lambs ear, hollyhocks, black-eyed susans, shasta daisies, yarrow)
- Annual Flower (examples: zinnias, sunflowers, marigolds, cosmos)
- Herb (examples: basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary)
- Vegetable (examples: lettuce, beets, spinach, pumpkin)
2. Basic growing info (examples: mature height/with, likes sun vs shade,
3. Your Facebook profile name so the recipient can contact you if they have any questions.
Once you arrive at the swap ...
✅ Organize your seeds in the bins provided.
✅ Look at what's already there and take what you need.
✅ If you didn't bring any seeds, please consider contributing to a donation box that will be provided. We'll donate what's collected to a charity chosen by the members.
