New lower early bird ticket prices this year! Festival line up announcements will come after early bird tickets close. Thursday August 6 - Sunday August 9, 2026. Nanaimo Blues Festival has some blues for everyone – from R&B, boogie-woogie, blues-rock, to Chicago blues, jump blues, soul & gospel and so much more. Enjoy and dance to the blues in Nanaimo’s scenic Inner Harbour and feel the oceanside breeze and good island vibes!
More youth bands and the popular Sunday soul & gospel hour are returning and we dare you to keep your feet still. Food trucks, vendors and refreshments are on site. Bring your chair or rent one on site. Come celebrate summer and dancing with the blues community and remember the blues makes you feel so good!
Festival launch party on Thursday August 8th at The Queens downtown Nanaimo, and tickets are sold separately.
The epic Saturday night festival after party at The Queens is returning and your festival wristband gets you in for free.
