Nearly 60 million Americans experience a mental health condition every year. Regardless of race, age, religion, or economic status, mental illness impacts the lives of at least one in four adults and one in 10 children across the United States.
People living with mental illness need help and hope: they need a community that supports them, their families, and their recovery.
NAMI Blair County, PA, offers many opportunities for education and support for individuals living with mental illness and their loved ones. We work to increase awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental illness.
We offer a wide variety of programs and an on-site lending library. This free library offers books and educational material about mental health and recovery.
You can enroll as a member for as low as $5 per year (for lower income). Membership benefits include online services, a subscription to Advocate magazine, and more! All programs are offered to individuals and families regardless of membership status.
