💬 About the Event:
Join NAMI Tuscaloosa on the second Monday of every month for our Monthly Education & Support Meeting, held in person (and Zoom -- DM or email us) at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.
This monthly gathering includes:
✅ An educational presentation on a mental health topic, community resource, or lived experience
✅ Peer-led support groups following the presentation, with one group for family members and one for individuals living with a mental health condition
Each meeting is designed to foster education, understanding, and mutual support in a stigma-free environment.
🎓 Educational Topics:
We invite a different guest speaker or presenter each month to address a variety of mental health and wellness topics—ranging from treatment options and self-care strategies to local support services and advocacy updates.
