About this Event

The first of its kind to occur on the North Fork, Nameless is a literary salon and reading with rotating host covering a multitude of topics. Every reading is different than the last and the host guides us along the journey. We are so excited to welcome you back for our second season, created by friends & collegues Matthew Daddona & Kara Hoblin in January of 2024.

Nameless Writer’s Salon #7 - “The Heart of the Matter” hosted by Gianna Volpe”

Thursday Feb 27th 6-7:30pm, Halyard Library FREE but must RSVP

It’s a month most known for the heart — The romantic properties assigned to it, as well as the organ itself — but no matter what topic your piece touches, let’s get to the heart of it all together.

Gianna Volpe is the host of The Heart of The East End on WLIW-FM featuring music from all decades and genres and interviews from all walks of life all morning and midnight long on Long Island’s only local NPR radio station. An award-winning writer, photographer and radio journalist who was most recently recognized by the Fair Media Council with a Best in Public Service News FOLIO Award for a spotlight on Long Island food insecurity, Gianna is grateful to be getting to the heart of the matter with all of you this evening.
