About this Event

Naloxone (Narcan) Training for College & High School Students

Councilwoman Theresa Mari sponsors an important and empowering Naloxone (Narcan) Training designed specifically for college and high school students. Led by Barry Zaks of Huntington Drug & Alcohol Counseling Center, this free program will teach participants how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and properly administer Naloxone, a life-saving Medic*tion that can reverse the effects of an overdose.

Attendees will receive community service credit, a free Naloxone kit, and valuable skills that can make a difference in an emergency. This training is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your resume, build confidence, and learn how to help protect friends, family members, and members of your community.
