Nalbinding Workshop

This year we are delighted to welcome back the experts at Woodland Ways to lead a Nalbinding Workshop at Haddon Hall. On this full day heritage craft workshop you will learn how to use the ancient Scandinavian technique of Nalbinding, a craft that pre-dates knitting and crochet. Nalbinding involves using a single needle to create a fabric from short lengths of natural wool, resulting in dense, warm items that don’t unravel in the way that knitted items can.
All tuition, materials and equipment will be provided and everyone will go home with a finished item. No previous experience is required.
Please note that admission to Haddon Hall is not included within the price of this event.
