Mālama the Night: Lighting the Way

Join us for Mālama the Night: Lighting Our Way, an educational, community-focused evening exploring how environmentally responsible outdoor lighting can help protect Hawaiʻi’s wildlife, natural environment, and night skies while meeting the needs of our communities.

The evening will bring together voices from local agencies, organizations, and the lighting industry to share their knowledge and perspectives on responsible outdoor lighting, wildlife and environmental protection, and Maui County’s outdoor lighting requirements.

Whether you work in the industry, serve our communities, care about Hawaiʻi’s environment and wildlife, or simply want to learn more, we invite you to see how thoughtful lighting choices can make a difference.
