Vandrestaven inviterer tradisjonen tro til Mørkevandring til Gaustad Gruve. Den danske billedkunstneren Mikkel Carlsen presenterer en ny serie skulpturer, som vil innta snølandskapet i og rundt gruven.
Bli med! Vi møtes på Sognsvann st. kl. 19:00, hvor vi sammen vandrer gjennom vintermørket til utstillingsstedet. Her vil Mikkel Carlsen ha installert en serie skulpturer som kaster et nytt lys på den gamle jerngruven og snølandskapet rundt den.
Om utstillingen "Mellemtrint, omtrent" av Mikkel Carlsen: Utstillingen utforsker tid, hengivenhet og lengsel. Gjennom skulptur og tekst, formidlet fra perspektivet til en spøkelsesaktig skikkelse, beveger den seg inn i hullet mellom nostalgiske minner og dystopiske fremtidsvisjoner. Gennem vandringen og verkene inviterer utstillingen til en mørk og stille refleksjon over paradoksene som former naturen, mennesket og samfunnet:
Jeg skriver for at sige, at
Jeg skrev for at sige, at jeg har prøvet lidt, mere end sidst. Lidt længe. Jeg forsøgte, måske at trække vejret hernede, et sted under jorden.
Da så jeg at. Ja, at vi skulle finde vores; en slags slagen vejviser, sat i sted. Vores sted (var det det?) Slagen i sit/deres afkald. Nær, gav de afkald på, eller var de fratrådt deres stilling.
De ting som står, som jeg lod stå. Eller stod med. Måske, i hvert fald, endnu mere mindre end.
Vi alle trak vejret ind, hold det, drog for at give slip. Efter år og dage her, på dette sted, stedet vort. Her jeg står-stod, var-før. I mellemrum, overgang, og endnu indgang.
Om det fører sig frem, er det det der. Der kan jo være et andet sted, hvor de ikke længere ses over rugbrød og pålæg og knive og gafler.
Årets Mørkevandring, den femte i rekken, er kuratert av kunstnerduoen Gone Fiction. I år er vi stolte over å ha fått støtte fra @Kulturrådet.

Vandrestaven invites you, in keeping with tradition, to Mørkevandring at Gaustad Mine.
Danish visual artist Mikkel Carlsen will present a new series of sculptures that will inhabit the snowy landscape in and around the mine.
Join us!
We will meet at Sognsvann Station at 7:00 PM and walk together through the winter darkness to the exhibition site. There, Mikkel Carlsen will have installed a series of sculptures that cast a new light on the old iron mine and the surrounding snowy landscape.
About the exhibition "Mellemtrint, omtrent" by Mikkel Carlsen:
The exhibition explores time, devotion, and longing. Through sculpture and text, conveyed from the perspective of a ghostly figure, it delves into the gap between nostalgic memories and dystopian visions of the future. Through the walk and the artworks, the exhibition invites a dark and quiet reflection on the paradoxes shaping nature, humanity, and society:
I write to say that
I wrote to say that I’ve tried a little, more than before. A little longer. I tried, perhaps, to breathe down here, somewhere underground.
Then I saw that. Yes, that we had to find our; a sort of beaten guidepost, set in place. Our place (was it that?) Beaten in its/their renunciation. Near, they renounced, or had stepped away from their position.
The things that remain, that I left standing. Or stood with. Perhaps, at least, even more less than.
We all drew in breath, held it, went to let it go. After years and days here, in this place, our place. Here I stand-stood, was-before. In the in-between, transition, and still an entry.
Whether it moves forward, it is that. There could, of course, be another place where they are no longer seen over rye bread and toppings and knives and forks.
This year’s Mørkevandring, the fifth in the series, is curated by the artist duo Gone Fiction. We are proud to announce that this year’s event is supported by @Kulturrådet.
