Struggling from a recent war and low on morale, El Eden, a ranchito in Northern Mexico, finds itself with trouble a brewin’. When an old friend of Homero’s rides wounded into town, he and his pard’, Chuy (along with Vaqueros, Pancho and Juanito), do what they can to help him back on his feet. Daniel, a now-former Texas Ranger, is grateful at first, but holds disdain in his heart towards Chuy for being a homosexual. Insults and slurs are hurled at him, forcing Chuy to beg Homero to kick the Ranger out of their home. He listens and appeases, but Daniel’s hate knows no bounds, and he believes someone must pay the price for their sin. Daniel commits a far greater sin by leaving Homero with no choice but to K*ll the man he once called “brother.”
