Myth and Magic 🎨💛 — A Creative Workshop for Kids (Ages 9–12)
TWEENS feel BIG feelings — and this workshop helps them understand those feelings in a fun, creative way. Join us for Heart Smart Art, a hands‑on experience where children learn emotional intelligence through mindfulness, stories, songs, and a guided art project designed to help them express and process emotions through color.
✨ What Kids Will Do
Learn simple mindfulness tools: Breathing and guided meditation
Hear stories of folklore and mythology to inspire discussion about feelings; emphasis on ANGER for the theme this month
Explore how colors can express emotions while learning art skills
Create an art project they’ll be proud of
Build emotional vocabulary in a playful, supportive space
✨ For Parents Parents are welcome to stay in your child's activities or shop JADE BLOOM store for 15% off class participants!
Jade Bloom will have a separate area for parents: OIL ROLLER BAR to make your own oil roller for an additional $10. Bring a friend!
Parents will receive a take‑home handout with tips for supporting emotional intelligence at home — including how to use color as a tool for emotional processing.
This is a joyful, creative way to help kids understand themselves better and build lifelong emotional skills. We can’t wait to create with you.
