Rachel Corrie's spirit has been making waves across the globe since her death in 2003 and then it has been amplified since the play's debut in 2005.
'This has to stop. I think it's a good idea for us all to drop what we're doing and dedicate our lives to making this stop. I don't think that's an extremist thing to do anymore. I still really want to dance around to Pat Benatar and have boyfriends and make comics for my co-workers but I also really want this to stop.'
- Rachel Corrie
Over twenty years later this still hasn't stopped. But we are coming together and we are gaining momentum. Our friends are following in her footsteps with the Global Sumud Flotilla and travelling to Gaza with the World Health Organization, people are protesting, boycotting, dedicating their lives to the betterment of life on this earth.
As Rachel also says 'I can't save the planet single-handedly'
