Marking 50 years of leadership and public engagement from Imam W. Deen Mohammed's tradition, this year's Muslim-American Leadership Day observance features a major public address from his successor and the leader of America's indigenous Muslim community, Imam Earl Abdulmalik Mohammed.Entitled "Struggle for the Moral Destiny: How Does Good Prevail in an Era of Tyranny," this universal message offers precise healing and conclusions for the divisiveness and confusion that beset our societies today.
Including Mayor Ras Baraka as the inaugural recipient of the WDM Faith & Just Society Humanitarian Award, Muslim-American Leadership Day presents to America and the world a tradition that is the codification of Freedom, Justice, and Equality.
