MUSIC @St.MARTINI in collaboration with the Cape Town Camerata presents "The Knabenkantorei Basel (KKB)" from Switzerland which is a renowned choral institution catering to boys and young men between the ages of six months and 26 years. Its comprehensive program ranges from parent-child singing and various course levels to the 80-member Concert Choir featuring boys’ and men’s voices.Originating from the 1927-founded “Singknaben der Evangelisch-reformierten Kirche Basel-Stadt”, KKB has evolved into an independent, non-denominational entity. The repertoire spans sacred and secular compositions, encompassing a diverse selection from Renaissance a cappella pieces to grand Romantic oratorios, along with folk songs and popular tunes.
