Music Production Workshop

This workshop is aimed at teaching the fundamentals of music production. This is intended for beginner producers who are getting into music production for the first time, and intermediate music producers who want to take their sounds to a next level. All you need is a computer, a notepad, a pen and a heart that is open to learning.

Workshops are recommended for people ages 12 and over. Children under 12 years old are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Please get a ticket for each person (incl. all children).

The workshop is pay what you can! Suggested $20 - $30 to support facilitator fees and supplies.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Bisi OLADIPO is a singer/songwriter, music producer, and performer. He has written and produced for award winning artists across Canada and in Nigeria. Coming off a rebrand and a first headliner show, Bisi is ready to take on the world with his sound. He fuses Afrobeats, HipHop/RnB, Soul, and other world genres to create a unique blend.

Alcove Centre for the Arts (alcoveartscentre.ca) is a non-profit organization based in Calgary, AB which aims to make art more accessible and promote a vibrant local arts industry. We curate and cultivate community art spaces for Calgarians to engage in art and creativity while building a platform for emerging local artists.

Alcove is a Recreational Art Space open to the public providing free art supplies and instruments to stimulate creativity. The space also acts as a gathering place for workshops, community events, and social meetups. Come visit and get creative!
