Music Production & AI | Full 4-Session Series | NEEC | Starts June 22 (R1)
About this Event
WHAT YOU'LL CREATE
You don't need an instrument. You don't need music theory. You just need a story to tell.
The Music Development with AI Track is a free, four-session series that teaches you how to compose original music and create professional album artwork — using AI tools like Suno and Canva. By the end of Session 4, you will have made a real song. Yours. From scratch.
WHAT HAPPENS IN EACH SESSION
- Session 1 — Intro to Music A.I.: Discover how AI generates music — from simple text-to-song to advanced custom composition. You'll create a Suno account, explore Simple Mode and Custom Mode, and build a 5-track, no-vocalist playlist of your favorite film themes. The journey starts here.
- Session 2 — Defining Your Sound: Every great artist has a sonic identity. In this session, you'll learn how successful filmmakers and musicians use sound to shape how we feel — then define your own. Using leitmotifs and sound design principles, you'll complete a Sound Identity Worksheet that becomes the blueprint for your final track.
- Session 3 — AI Composition: This is the studio session. Using Suno for music generation and Canva AI for visual creation, you'll engineer your song instrumentation and produce a full draft track plus album cover art. By the end of this class, your song exists.
- Session 4 — Soundtrack Capstone: Final cut. You'll layer your audio aesthetics, complete your song, finalize your artwork, and present your finished work to the class. This session is a celebration of everything you've learned — and everything you've created.
COME TO ONE. COME TO ALL.
Each session is a complete learning experience on its own. But attend all four and you'll walk out with a finished original song, professional artwork, and the skills to make more.
