Annie Eastwood and Her All-Star Band - In 2022 "Stickshift" Annie Eastwood received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Washington Blues Society (WBS) in recognition of her long, distinguished career as one of the area's leading vocalists. Her current band truly is a collection of all-stars, featuring multiple WBS "Best of the Blues" Award winner Billy Stapleton on electric and slide guitar. Their September 2025 CD release highlights the band’s musical versatility, moving easily from traditional blues to jazz to their highly original takes on songs by artists as diverse as Jimi Hendix and James Brown.
