Embark on an unforgettable musical adventure of melodies and rhythms with the Music Explorers Summer Camp, led by the exceptional teacher, Mary Ella Van Voorhis.August 5 – 9, 2023 from 10am-12pm M-F finishing with concert.
For only $80 per student, sponsored by Holy Names Music Center, children ages 6 and up will immerse themselves in the vibrant music of different countries each day. From learning dances and games to singing and playing xylophones, metallophones, and drums, their creativity and musicality will soar!

Mary Ella Van Voorhis, a highly accomplished vocalist, brings a wealth of experience to the camp. With extensive training and certifications in Orff-Schulwerk, Mary Ella has delighted audiences with her mesmerizing voice as a finalist in the Northwest Regional Metropolitan Opera. She has performed with prestigious ensembles such as the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Los Angeles Opera, and the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival. As a dedicated teacher, Mary Ella has nurtured young voices at renowned institutions like Whitworth University and UC Irvine.
