Music City Mutt Strutt 5K

The Nashville Humane Association will host its annual Mutt Strutt 5K fundraiser on Sunday, May 17, at Shelby Bottoms Greenway in East Nashville. Runners (and their pups) can register for the 5K or one-mile fun run online. All funds raised from the event will go to support Nashville Humane and the homeless and at-risk shelter pets the organization serves. Participants can sign up for the traditional 5K race or the one-mile fun run, walk, or strut. Dogs are welcome to join in on the fun, either as race participants or spectators. In addition to the race, there will be dog-friendly vendors including Yerba Madre, Vitality Blends, Furever Friends, Forevermore, Zoom Room, Three Dog Bakery, Muttz Realty, Live Like Roo, Yoga Muttz, plus other activities. All money raised through Mutt Strutt enables Nashville Humane Association to provide necessary medical attention, state-of-the-art shelter, and fun toys and treats to the adoptable pet population of Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Prizes will be awarded to the Fastest Dog (5K), the Slowest Dog (5K), the Top Individual Fundraiser, and the Top Team Fundraiser. Registration is $30 and can be purchased online.
