Mushroom Foraging: Two Hour Hands-on Session

Two Hour Hands-on Session
During the hands-on session there will be informational handouts and discussion of foraging
safety, where to forage, and what to look for. After the discussion there will be a guided
mushroom foray through Wainer park, ending with an identification table where finds can be
viewed, discussed, and identified using a combination of methods discussed during the session.
All are encouraged to wear proper footwear to walk through the wooded areas.
The classroom session is on Thursday, September 11th 6-8 PM at Goodell Gardens & Homestead. Separate registration is required.
